Xiv's Ink - 2.0

[Having just gotten out of the chair after three hours, rose tattoo finally done]
Dice: So are you satisfied with your ink?
Xiv: Hell yeah! They look great, makes me feel great, it's totally awesome! Hey, take a picture for me before they put the protective bandage thing on, will ya?

The old tattoo was lame, (seen here --> scartato.deviantart.com/art/Xi… ) so I decided to update the kid's ink with something prettier.
I held a contest for designs and had prizes and stuff and people submitted some cool thoughts, but then Skurdy went a reminded me about Xivlox's original version (back when he was a Lupe on Neopets, the first time I designed him, or as I like to say, his 'Past Life as an Alchemist') he had a red cross and rose tattoo, so I brought the rose idea back. So the tattoo is a pretty flower with thorny branches that are supposed to dig in and out of his flesh.
Heart surgery scar, med-alert bracelet for heart-condition, and of course a cute little hip tattoo as well because cute Ukes need cute tats for their lovers to find.~ And hair clips and black painted nails because why not, and he's striking a silly light-hearted pose because he's cute.

For the sake this character's cannon, we'll say he got the hearts when he was 18 (Dice paid for it as a birthday gift.) The rose one was for his 21st birthday, instead of buying drinks (which isn't recommend with heart diseases), so the funds Dice and Neukum would have spent on him for drinks, plus some of Xiv's own money went into paying for it..  

"Where are those dot things under his eyes?" you may ask?
Truth is, I forgot about them...   I was also thinking of trying to fade those out from his over-all design. They were remints of his neopet days, and now that he's full on human in 'our world', markings like that don't make sense.

Now I really want to roleplay with him. Anyone?
